As CEO of Regional Youth Support Services (RYSS), engaging Christine at the Funding and Grants Collective has been transformative for our community organisation. Christine immediately joined our team, and it felt like she had been working with us for years. She seamlessly fitted in, providing strategic guidance and one-on-one grant writing mentorship that significantly elevated our funding approach.

Christine’s extensive Government experience, particularly on the Central Coast, proved invaluable in refining our key messaging for stakeholders. Her mentorshlp helped our staff navigate grant guidelines, craft compelling data-driven narratives, and translate our vision into “Government speak.” She Identified additional data sets, Government strategies, and policies aligned with our projects – connections we hadn’t previously recognised.

Through Christine’s collaborative partnership with Kellie Brown at StoryKeller Productions, we developed a powerful video showcasing the youth crisis on the Central Coast and created a corporate pitch deck. The results were immediate: we secured our first major corporate sponsor within one week of receiving these materials!

Following Christlne’s grant writing mentorship, RYSS secured $988,650 in Federal Government funding for our new Gosford Youth Hub. This critical funding ensures our permanency in Gosford. Our Youth Hub will transform the lives of at-risk young people across the Central Coast. It will address the root causes of youth antisocial behaviour, equipping young people with tools to break cycles of disadvantage through mentorship, engagement, and skillbuilding.

The expertise and guidance from the Funding and Grants Collective have been instrumental in securing RYSS’s future and expanding our ability to serve Central Coast youth when they need us most.
